Ensure you have the respective language-supported version of Deus Ex itself beforehand. GMDX supports English, French, Spanish, German and Russian Languages. GMDX requires Windows Vista or later (e.g Windows 7, 8, 10). If you can’t play GMDX (got an error regarding 0xc000007b or VCRUNTIME140.dll not found) it is likely because you don’t have the necessary Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 runtimes: Download The configure menu can be tweaked to your liking though. Do not fiddle with the “Data Directories” menu unless you know what you're doing. Once installed, always launch GMDX from one of the three PLAY_GMDX shortcuts.Run the downloaded GMDXv9.0.3_Setup.exe installer and follow the necessary steps provided within.Once installed launch the game up to the title screen and then exit.
